Welcome
We encourage applicants with both internal and family medicine backgrounds to apply for our fellowship. Applicants must have completed residency in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine successfully and in good standing prior to the start of their fellowship. ABIM or ABFM board-certified or board-eligible is preferred.
The UC WCH Geriatric Medicine Fellowship Program is fully accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education. Our program is one year in length and can accept up to four fellows per year.
Our program participates in the National Resident Matching Program (NRMP) and our fellow positions are only available through the NRMP. Applications are to be submitted through ERAS. Please utilize the resources below to complete your application. Feel free to reach out with any questions.

Three letters of recommendation (one of which needs to be from your residency Program Director)
USMLE Scores Report or verification of pass/fail status

Letter of completion from residency
International Trainees, in addition to the above materials, we also require:
Current ECFMG certification
Residency completed in the United States
Our institution does not offer H-1B Visas at this time
